Initiation in rowing  is given under supervision from experienced rowers. Lessons are given by recreation rowers for the beginning recreations rowers.

rowing hours:

On Wednesday between 19u30 and 21u00

On Saturday between 14u00 and 17u00 

After a short discussion with te supervisor, about the desired tour, the boats are being aranged.
Preferably and depending on the number of rowers the C4 boats wil be used (1 coaxer and 4 rowers).

Rowing hours for touring:

Op dins- en donderdag tussen 19u30 en 21u30

op zondagvoormiddag tussen 09u30 en 12u30

Not only Ghent offers beautifull rowing tours. The recreation rowers are regulary  invited by national and international recreation rowing clubs, for a pleasant exploring of other rowing Cities and suburbs.

That's the way the recreation rowers are proud to have participated on tours in Paris, Utrecht (Holland), Gravelines (France), ...

Once a year the recreation rowers organize a crossing tour through Ghent. This event is getting more and more attention of the international neighbours. They come to the tour because the pleasant ambience and the greeting of other rowers and the historie of Ghent.

The recreation rowers also dare to challenge other rowers. Once a year they participate to the 'handicap' of Brussels.
